Hello all! I have been working extensively on my cosplays (Nia Teppelin from TTGL, Casual Orihime from Bleach, and San from Princess Mononoke) and so I have been so very busy!

This is in fact a picture of one of the pieces of my cosplays in progress--San's mask! 8D I decided to be efficient and use paper mache--it's light and cheap because all of the ingredients are things you have at home. For this paper mache, it's not the usual you see with newspaper, and that's because I used an alternative formula for this to be smoother and such in the end. It's made with toilette paper that's shredded, boiled, and simmered in water (with a little bleach) that's then blended up and mixed with the old fashioned flour-glue. The prep time is a bit long, but it's totally worth it.
